Dave Hadley - Food Network's Chopped Champion Meet & Greet

Chef Meet & Greet Happy Hour with Food Network’s Chopped Champion, Dave Hadley of ThePreservery

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017 The Preservery hosted a happy hour meet and greet, with sous chef Dave Hadley, to celebrate his recent victory as a participant in the Food Network hit show, Chopped. Proceeds from the event were donated to No Kid Hungry. Chopped episode 8, season 32, titled Chefs In A Pickle aired Tuesday, February 21st, 2017. Chef hosted a viewing party where he watched the full episode with his family and friends as it aired. He made sure to keep his poker face on, being sure not to give away the final results. Excitement flowed through the room as he was given the honor of Chopped champion. A title well deserved.

I’ve had the pleasure of connecting with Chef Dave Hadley at one of his previous culinary stops. To my delight, he was one of the first faces I saw during my initial visit to the Preservery, March of last year. I’ve been a customer of The Preservery from its first week. Everyone knows I am a sucker for a great sandwich, and that’s exactly what I found here. Beyond their vast market selection of meats and cheeses, The Preservery has served up some fierce dinner and brunch offerings courtesy of Dave Hadley. Saturdays you can stop in for the So What! The Brunch buffet style service with sounds provided by some of my favorite DJ’s in town. Congrats again on the big win Chef! I’m looking forward to continuing to follow you through your culinary journey.

More About Chef David Hadley

“Dave has been contributing his talents to The Preservery since the very beginning, almost a year ago, now. A New Jersey native, Dave discovered his love for food early on after spending time in the kitchen with his Grandma. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Dave has worked for many of the state’s most esteemed restaurants and chefs, since moving to Colorado, including Chef Mark Fischer at Six89 in Carbondale, Acorn in Denver, and he even helped to open the first Biju’s Little Curry Shop. He came to The Preservery because of his love for the RiNo/Five Points neighborhood and a desire to pursue his own style of food and introduce people to different, unique flavor profiles. This is always evidenced by his beautiful contributions to The Preservery's menu, such as the handmade samosas with Kerala chutney or the ever-popular Masala Lamb served on a bed of stewed fregola.“ - The Preservery Team
