Randolph's Restaurant & Bar

August 8, 2017

Randolph’s Restaurant and Bar at the Warwick Hotel has been a fixture in the Uptown neighborhood for decades. Oddly enough I’d never stepped foot into this restaurant. Recently, I’d been seeing some delicious looking food posted on their social media pages which motivated me to pay them a visit.

Summer is the perfect time to bring out the grill. The amazing team at Randolph’s couldn’t agree more. We visited during their BBQ lunch featured menu, which hosted a number of items prepared on the grill. The menu was solid. It took a nice while for us to determine what to get. After some recommendations from Chef Vincent Vigil, we ordered the following:

  •  Jumbo Lump Crab Cake

  • Grilled Mixed Fruit

  • Boulder Farms Beet and Ricotta Salad

  • Lobster Roll

  • Randolph’s Colorado Angus Beef Burger

The standout items were the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and the Colorado Angus Beef Burger. The crab cake was mind-blowing good. Nothing but crab, with only a few veggies as a filler. It was served up with a red pepper puree and citrus salad. The Randolph’s Colorado Angus Burger 8oz. Angus beef, Jarlsberg cheese, pancetta, butter lettuce, red onion, house made pickles was the real deal. You can have it prepared any way you like. I enjoyed every bite.

Throughout of lunch service, we were greeted by restaurant and hotel personnel. Everyone was extremely friendly and delivered impeccable service. Being that it was my first visit, I had a good amount of questions. Thankfully, all of them were answered. Major shout out to Hanna May for setting up the lunch reservation. Thank you to Jeremy Greenwell and Erica Casto-Larsen for ensuring we were well taken care of. Last but not least, Chef Vincent Vigil and his team to serving up some great food!

I would describe Randolph’s Restaurant and Bar as an upscale environment. The perfect place for power lunches or wining and dining mature audiences. I also feel that this should be a go to for Millennials, like myself, to add a different vibe from our new age dining habits. We dine out so often, that we undervalue the real meaning of service and experience. Randolph’s is the full package. It is a vibe I could definitely get used to.
