Fish N Beer is one of my favorite spots. There aren’t very many places in Denver where you can get fresh seafood offerings, both raw and cooked. This is that place. The food comes out fast. Their staff is on point. Shout out to my homie Naomi and the crew! The open kitchen serves as great entertainment. The HH menu features daily oysters specials, mussels, and a number of small plates. The shrimp slider is my go-to item. You can wash that down with a Dad Beer & A Shot, house wine or the daily cocktail for $6.

Kachina Southwest Grill is located within the Dairy Block, just a few steps from Union Station. One of the first things you’ll notice upon entering the restaurant is the colorful mural that sits opposite of the bar. It sets the vibe for the place. Kachina HH starts at 2 pm! I love the number of food options on this menu. The Navajo Tacos on fry bread is a must. The drinks hover between the $4-6 range. I highly recommend the Desert Pear Margarita or the Paloma. Y’all know I love my tequila!

Uncle Joe’s might be the spot I frequent most. It’s conveniently located between The Colorado Convention Center and the Denver Center for Performing Arts. This is the best bang for your buck! Each happy hour cocktails is served with a small appetizer of your choice. You’re basically getting free food and a $4-6 beverage at the same damn time. This is the first time I’ve seen something like this, but I’m hoping it won’t be the last. Full-size appetizers are also available during this time. Try the Crazy Dumplings and the Dry Pot Style Wings.
