The Bindery

The neighborhood known as LoHi has become a hotbed for some of the cities most hyped eateries. It can be difficult to sift through the dozens of options. That is especially true when you are tardy to the party, as I tend to be. There have been two standout concepts that have opened their doors within the past year. The Bindery is the brainchild of Chef Linda Hampsten Fox. She is an incredibly thoughtful culinary mind. Her concept is described as, “providing artisanal foods, handcrafted and nurtured with great care, and a dining experience grounded in tradition that is both playfully inventive and decisively chic.”

The Bindery is truly one of the more dynamic restaurants I’ve had the pleasure to visit on more than one occasion. The midday buzz is centered around their marketplace offering. Happy hour is a prime meeting ground for an early evening bite paired with traditional beverages options. The ambiance of the of the dinner service will provide an upscale vibe with a casual undertone. Lastly, The Bindery is a wonderful space to simply have a drink. Their carefully crafted cocktails are works of art. The mocktails (non-alcoholic mixed drinks) are equally impressive. The open floorplan is one of my favorite features of this space. The pastry counter area, long bar, and open kitchen concept allow dinners an opportunity see all the gears going to work. Their friendly staff puts a cherry on top of a memorable experience. The Bindery is TDimery stamped and approved!
